New BH iLynx+ DL with Avinox System

With the iLynx+ DL, BH expands the iLynx+ family with a clearly enduro-oriented e‑platform based on Avinox. At its core are a very compact, clean frame layout and a drive package that, with 150 Nm of torque and up to 1,300 W peak power (Turbo), ranks among the more powerful systems on the market.

BH emphasizes not so much the "more" in power, but the overall solution: a slim down tube, consistent internal routing, an integrated charging port, steering stop (BlockLock), and a 2‑inch OLED touch display fully recessed into the top tube. It is additionally controlled via two wireless remotes, which keeps the handlebar area looking nicely clean.

For the power supply, an 800 Wh battery is fitted. BH quotes a range of up to 157 km, although these figures naturally depend heavily on system weight and use case. Despite the compact construction, there is room in the main frame for a water bottle — even when a piggyback shock is mounted. Practical for the setup: according to BH the frame is prepared for dropper posts with up to 200 mm of travel.

For the suspension BH relies on 170 mm of rear travel and the Split-Pivot rear end. Added to that is a descent-oriented Lynx geometry: 77.5° seat angle for efficient climbing, 63.5° head angle for calmness on steep terrain, and 450 mm chainstays for agile but not nervous handling. The bike rolls throughout on 29-inch wheels and is available in sizes S to XL.

The range’s top model is aimed at riders who don’t want to overthink their e‑enduro: lots of travel, high-quality damping and Shimano’s top groupset.

BH combines the Avinox-M2S system here with a Factory suspension (180 mm fork) and an electronic XTR Di2 drivetrain. That’s paired with powerful four-piston brakes and, with the DT H1700, a hybrid wheelset that should be up to any enduro use. Controls are handled via the Avinox display recessed into the top tube along with wireless remotes.

Climbing-wise the setup is enduro-typical: a steep seat angle for climbing pressure, a slack head angle for confidence downhill and short chainstays that are meant to keep the bike nimble despite 29‑inch wheels. Overall the setup is aimed at fast, technical descents – without completely neglecting the uphill.

The 9.7 stays close to the top model, but opts for a groupset one step down.

Here too BH uses the 180 mm Fox 38 fork and Fox suspension, combined with a Shimano XT Di2 groupset. This model targets those who want to exploit the chassis' maximum reserves without reaching for the very top shelf.

On the 9.6 BH combines a carbon main frame with an aluminum rear triangle.

At the front it remains with a 180 mm fork; shifting is handled by a mixed Di2 setup using Deore control levers and an XT rear derailleur. This moves the 9.6's spec into a more everyday-friendly price bracket.

The Carbon 9.5 is the entry-level model into the carbon world of the iLynx+ DL.

Compared with the higher-positioned models, BH opts here for a 160 mm fork and a classic, mechanical Shimano groupset. The frame remains identical in its integration concept: display flush with the top tube, internal routing, BlockLock and integrated charging port.

Even with a little less fork travel, the basic orientation remains enduro-focused. The slack head angle and short chainstays continue to aim for stability and maneuverability in demanding terrain, while the steep seat angle ensures that the climb does not turn into a test of strength.

BH also keeps the downhill-oriented Lynx geometry for the aluminium frame. That is meant to give the bike the same character as the carbon variants: stable but not sluggish — and with a good position for climbing when things get technical on the uphill.

The aluminium chassis adopts many solutions from the carbon bikes: internal routing through the downtube, integrated charging port, chainstay protector and the Avinox display in the top tube along with wireless remotes. For the equipment, BH relies on a Fox suspension with a 180 mm fork and a mechanical Shimano groupset.

The Enduro 9.0 is the entry-level model into BH iLynx's Avinox world.

BH combines the aluminum platform here with a 160 mm fork and a Deore 12-speed groupset. The focus is therefore less on maximum reserves and more on a coherent overall setup centered around the Avinox system – including an integrated touch display and the tidy cable routing that all models share.

Although the geometry remains clearly aimed at enduro use even on the entry-level model, the specification is a bit "tamer" with 160 mm up front.

With the iLynx+ DL, BH puts together a package of strong motor output, a large battery and strikingly clean integration. What's particularly exciting is the combination of a slim appearance, an integrated display and clear enduro geometry - that is, a bike that provides powerful assistance uphill thanks to Avinox motors, but is primarily designed for brisk, technical descents. The model range covers a wide spectrum with carbon and aluminum frames. We're certainly curious to see if and when we'll get to ride one of these on our local trails.
