Endura AllTrack Collection and Packable Jacket on a Gravel Bike

A perfect match for gravel? The right kit for riding a mountain bike hard? Elegant enough for the road bike? With its AllTrack collection, Endura has one main aim: to put an end to the narrow-minded category thinking so typical of the industry. „Our philosophy at Endura is quite simple: we don’t want to tell anyone what to ride or where to ride it. The rider decides what works for them, feels good and serves its purpose,“ says Marc Podesta, Marketing Manager Endura DACH, neatly summing up the thinking behind the collection. The product line comprises clothing whose features and materials perform well across a broad spectrum, from road and gravel to mountain biking – leaving you free to choose whichever style feels most comfortable for „your“ rides. No categories, no pigeonholes. Just well-designed products with comfortable, versatile fits.

The collection’s tops and bottoms have been designed so you can combine them freely. Endura builds AllTrack around three fit pillars: Race Fit is close-fitting and designed for efficient riding; Ride Fit offers a balanced cut intended for long days in the saddle; Rout Fit has a loose cut and provides plenty of freedom of movement for technical sections and more relaxed riding.

The approach is modular: if you prefer a tighter fit on top and a more relaxed one below, for example (or vice versa), you can mix the fits. Depending on the garment, Endura uses breathable fabrics, stretch panels, ripstop material and merino content – solutions intended to combine durability and comfort for everyday riding.

The Ride pieces are intended as the versatile middle ground of the collection: neither too tight nor too loose, with details geared towards long rides and changing conditions. What stands out is that Endura places greater emphasis here on function – storage, weather protection and robust fabrics – than on pure race aesthetics.

Outside the norm: the Resort Shirt brings a deliberately relaxed concept to the Ride line. It is lightweight, quick-drying and fitted with press studs. A concealed rear pocket and a chest pocket are aimed at rides where you don’t want to remain in full-on "jersey mode" all the time – while travelling or cruising at a leisurely pace, for example.

If you optimise your outfit for aerodynamics, garments like these may seem alien. Casual tops like this become interesting when the bike serves as both transport and adventure machine – and your outfit doesn’t need to look like performance sportswear at first glance once the ride is over. The odd hip hipster might also take a liking to it; the pieces are certainly comfortable.

The short-sleeved jersey combines merino content for temperature regulation with tougher, stretchy ripstop sleeves. It also features classic rear pockets plus an additional zipped pocket, a grippy hem and reflective details.

The combination of a merino feel and tougher material panels is well suited to rides and adventures where you don’t know exactly what awaits you. Visually much closer to conventional cycling kit, it still retains a certain rough-and-ready character. Brushing against roadside bushes, taking breaks on old, abandoned wooden benches, hours of spray from damp forest floors – none of it is something you need to worry about in this kit.

The AllTrack Ride Bibshort has one very clear focus: long days in the saddle. Robustly made, with low-profile straps and a well-ventilated back, these bibshorts are aimed (not only) at high-mileage riders. There are also practical cargo pockets on the thighs, keeping your phone, bars and other essentials within easy reach. A highlight is the 600-Series CVP seat pad, whose gel structure is intended to provide consistent support even after hours in the saddle.

Our recommendation: ideal for rides where you not only spend a long time in the saddle, but also need or want quick access to one or two items without having to search through a backpack or panniers.

"Fit rather than discipline" is Endura’s marketing slogan, and the same applies to our ride through the Semmering region, from the route to the food. We rode the same pieces over asphalt, gravel and a few rougher sections, then treated ourselves at the mountain huts along the route, without ever wishing for a different, more specialised jersey. The cuts are comfortable and not too tight, the merino in the torso continues to regulate temperature even in tropical conditions of 40 degrees down on the plain, and the ripstop panels on the sleeves and pockets do their job well.

The look is understated, while the colours are extremely versatile and easy to combine – typically for Endura, not only within the collection but also across model years. The AllTrack pieces don’t shout, they aren’t plastered with logos, and you won’t look as though you’ve wandered into the wrong starting grid when you arrive at a mountain hut. The fact that Endura offers every piece in women’s and men’s versions, with and without straps, and with short or long sleeves fits the concept: you choose what you want instead of being sorted into a category. The Packable Jacket is the piece that comes along most often – small, light, with a high collar and a price that completes the package.

The Resort Shirt is cut relatively loose, and if you prefer an ultra-sporty look, you may not regard merino as your fabric of choice. For everyone else, the AllTrack collection is a solid choice that has so far made a very natural and, above all, robust impression.
