Eliminator
The Eliminator was well received with a total of 32 participants. The starting signal for the qualification in the individual time trial was given on Friday morning, where the competitors, without class distinction, fought each other at intervals of 30 seconds at the Palio on the 1,000-meter circuit through Ischgl.
Based on the times achieved, the four-person heats were assigned, determining the respective opponents for the actual race. The first two riders of each group advanced to the next round. The finalists were the first and second riders of both semi-finals, while the third and fourth places competed in the small final. Men and women were scored separately.
The well-deserved victories were claimed by Daniel Federspiel from Austria in the men's category and Antonia Daubermann from Germany in the women's category.
Promising Mountain Bike Youngsters
At the "Ironbike Kids & Juniors Trophy" on August 4th, 86 kids and juniors from 5 to 16 years old proved that they will certainly be a force to reckon with in the future. And this is not just because they once again had to brave the consistently cool weather to complete their laps on the age-appropriate adapted courses.
