The electric drive consists of a 250-watt rear-hub motor with a maximum torque output of 42 newton meters. In combination with the 360‑Wh Samsung battery, which is EN15194-certified and discreetly integrated into the removable seatpost, this yields a real-world range of up to 100 kilometers with pedal assistance. For additional security, a lock integrated into the seatpost clamp prevents unauthorized persons from removing the seatpost together with the battery.

Energy management is handled by an intelligent Battery Management System with a multi-stage safety system. The slim, integrated controller sits unobtrusively in the top tube. This not only protects it from rain, dust and shocks, but also makes it much harder to locate or steal.
