The Salzkammergut is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular regions in Austria. A wildly romantic landscape, forged by tectonic pressure over millions of years, polished by the untamed elements: the lakes, mountains and gorges north of the Dachstein massif. Since the dawn of the Bikeboard era, the Salzkammergut has accompanied us in cycling terms as well. Events like the Salzkammergut-Trophy in Bad Goisern or King Of The Lake around the Attersee have long enjoyed cult status. Added to these are new trend events such as the gravel event at the Trophy, the SALT&LAKE Trail or Gravel Around Salzkammergut, as well as leisure events like the Radlpirsch.
