  • AI generated translation
  • AI-generated translation refers to the process of using artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning models, to automatically translate text or speech from one language to another. These systems, such as neural machine translation models, analyze large datasets of multilingual content to learn patterns and associations between languages. The generated translations are based on statistical probabilities and context learned during training.

Frankfurt am Main, the second time around. After the trade fair's premiere at the new location in 2022, it remained exciting: Would the industry meeting be able to connect to past Eurobike successes in the following year? Or, in times of established online solutions and virtual meetings, are the days of such live gatherings simply numbered?

The answer lies in the eye or area of interest of the beholder. The thrilling showcase of new products for bike nerds, which all bicycle enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for, is no longer what Eurobike used to be. Instead, it is increasingly becoming a space for exchange, new ideas, changes in perspective, and fresh partnerships, where innovative mobility solutions and new business models thrive.

As a sport-oriented platform, Bikeboard only partially reflects this direction, named "Future Mobility Industry" by the organizing fairnamic GmbH – so please don't hold it against us if we stay true to our target group in the news we highlight.

Overall, we still endorse what Eurobike claims about itself: It sets new standards and identifies key themes in the areas of sport, leisure, health, and mobility, continues to evolve, and brings the global community together live.

The Fair in Numbers

For the second edition in the Main metropolis, Eurobike has tried over the course of five event days to reclaim its position as the world's leading trade fair for the bike industry after the Corona crisis.
As far as the sheer number of exhibiting companies is concerned, this was certainly successful: 1,900, according to the official statement of the trade fair management, is an impressive figure. Although some big names in the business and also smaller, but previously loyal customers, were conspicuously absent even at the 31st edition. All the more assertively, representatives of the "Future Mobility Industry" pushed into the limelight. Accordingly, the range of products on offer was colorful and widely varied.

On the visitor side, the organizers could certainly be pleased with the growing popularity. With 34,750 trade visitors and 31,840 consumers at the Festival Days following on the weekend, there was a significant increase compared to the Frankfurt premiere the previous year (33,780 and 27,370 respectively).
This audience flocked from 122 countries and was offered everything imaginable under the term bicycle on 150,000 square meters of hall space including outdoor areas – including 200 (reported) world premieres.

Festival Days

When the trade visitors have departed, the hour strikes for the "ordinary people". With a comprehensive supporting program ranging from a bicycle flea market to a bike flip show and a skyline contest, the leading trade fair opens its doors to all cycling fans on the final weekend.
Parallel to the Festival Days, the regular trade fair operations also continue, allowing all visitors to further enjoy discovering the news and trends of the next year for themselves – whether it be marveling and looking in the exhibition halls, or pedaling and reviewing in the Demo Area.

Whether it's fun in the children's area, gaining knowledge in the transparent workshop, action at the Bembel Cit Crit, broadening horizons with cargo bikes, or inspiration in the Bike Travel Area – the Eurobike was well attended on Saturday and Sunday, not least thanks to the consistently good weather.
