There's nothing that doesn't exist in Contec's lineup – especially in 2024, as the product lines are not only being expanded and extended, but are also being supplemented with new product groups. And the best part for consumers: some novelties will be coming soon, meaning: still in 2023, to the market …

Hard to believe, but true: Complete wheelsets have so far been missing from Contec's range. With a modular system that offers up to 16 different variations, this shortcoming is now being addressed – for now, only in the MTB sector, but other disciplines are expected to follow.

The most essential components are the Core and M.Core hubs, as well as the Exit and Xeta rims. With the Select Series' bolt axles, an optical upgrade is quickly done even with a small budget. Weight reduction should also be easy with the aluminum quick release featuring a titanium axle.

The two 32-hole aluminum hollow-chamber rims are designed to offer an optimal ratio of low weight and the necessary stiffness. Available in 27.5 and 29" starting from autumn 2023, the price will be 29.95 or 39.95 for the narrower (21, 23 or 25 mm) Exit/Exit Master (weight from 503/536 g). The optionally 25, 30 or 35 mm wide Xeta/Xeta Max will cost 39.95 euros and are also tubeless ready (which is not yet apparent on the trade fair photos, because they are prototypes). In terms of weight, they come in at 534 or 569 grams. Both models can carry a maximum load of 150 kg.

The Core and M.Core hubs run on high-quality, sealed industrial bearings. For extra-long mileage, many hubs are even equipped with quadruple bearings. Available in all common axle diameters, with Shimano and Sram freehub bodies. Thanks to suitable axles, end caps, and a single freehub body, the supply of spare parts is also guaranteed.

Uncharted Territory, Part Two – and this time for real: "About on par with Tektro," as PR manager Emely Bitmead described the quality level at Eurobike, Contec presents its first-ever bicycle cassettes.
Two models are specifically designed for e-bikes and their particularly high torque (Grad.HT) or with Shimano Linkglide technology (Grad.LG).
The basic variant for organic bikes is simply named Grad. While all three versions share the aluminum lockring, only the Grad also features an aluminum sprocket – logically, the largest one. All others are made of High Tensile steel.
The parts, compatible with 8- to 12-speed shifters (or LG 9-11-speed) and Shimano HG, are expected to be available from August. Depending on the number of sprockets, prices range from €29.95 to €119.95 for the organic version, €49.95-€119.95 for Grad.HT, and €49.95-€99.95 for Grad.LG.

The new integrated Minitools Treasure are also a complete in-house development. The series includes four different tools: one for installation in the fork steerer and three variations for the handlebar end. They are expected to be available from December 2023.

And how about finishing up with a beautification action for the living room or a tidy garage? Contec now has the right wall mounts ready.
Scandinavian design and high-quality materials make it possible with bikeART Shelf, to hang up the precious bike in such a way that it decorates the living space not only practically but also visually appealing. The more industrial variant bikeART Tube even supports heavy loads of up to 35 kilograms, so that even an e-bike can find its place on the wall. On top, there is space for helmets & Co.

The price for these mounts (€ 39.9) is just as hot as that of the three available "garage versions" smART (24.95), smART Hold (49.95) and smART Fold (S/M; 49.95).
